About the position

CAMP is a Family Experience Company dedicated to creating immersive adventures and unforgettable events for families. As a Retail Customer Experience Associate, you will play a crucial role in delivering a magical retail experience at our new store opening in King of Prussia Mall. Your primary responsibility will be to guide diverse customers and families through our engaging retail environment, ensuring they have memorable experiences that encourage them to return. You will report directly to the General Manager of your store location and will be involved in all aspects of store operations, including coordinating in-store logistics for activities, special events, and parties. In this role, you will welcome every guest with a custom greeting and perform a unique magic door entrance to set the tone for their visit. Engaging with families as they explore the CAMP experience is essential, and you will be responsible for demoing products and customizing shopping experiences based on each family's interests. You will also handle transactions at the register and inform families about upcoming programs and CAMP news. Facilitating family programs and events, such as crafting and reading sessions, will be part of your duties, along with maintaining a clean and organized environment. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are excited about engaging creatively with children and families. This position requires a commitment to working at least one weekend day each week, with the possibility of additional hours based on business needs. Responsibilities

  • Guide customers and families through the retail experience at CAMP.
  • Welcome guests with a custom greeting and perform a unique magic door entrance.
  • Engage with families and demo products during their visit.
  • Customize personal shopping experiences based on family interests.
  • Handle transactions at the register and inform families about upcoming programs.
  • Facilitate family programs and events, including crafting and reading activities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Support all areas of the store and coordinate in-store logistics for activities and events.

Requirements

  • Ability to work at least one weekend day per week, ideally both.
  • Availability to work holidays, nights, and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to work at least 20 hours per week, with flexibility up to 29 hours based on business needs.
  • Prior work experience in retail, childcare, child development/education, or performing arts.
  • Excellence and enthusiasm for engaging with children and families creatively.
  • Desire to be part of a tight-knit team transforming the retail experience.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Authorized to work lawfully in the United States.
