About the position

The position at TJ Maxx involves overseeing a team of Associates to ensure an excellent customer experience at the front of the store. Responsibilities

• Promote an excellent customer experience by overseeing a team of Associates.
• Engage and interact with customers to maintain a positive shopping environment.
• Train and mentor Associates on front end principles and customer service.
• Assign registers and coordinate breaks for Associates to ensure smooth operations.
• Address customer concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure Associates execute tasks according to store plans and prioritize as needed.
• Communicate effectively with management and Associates regarding priorities and progress updates.
• Provide recognition and constructive feedback to team members.
• Partner with management to identify training needs for Associates.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs and support store shrink reduction goals.

Requirements

• Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Strong understanding of merchandising techniques.
• Capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
• Team player who works effectively with peers and supervisors.
• Ability to train others with at least 1 year of retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
