As a Retail Customer Experience Coordinator at Marshalls, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the customer experience and driving the success of our store. This position is centered around promoting an excellent customer experience by overseeing a team of Associates at the front of the store. You will ensure that customers receive prompt and courteous service while actively promoting our loyalty programs. Your leadership will be demonstrated through engaging and interacting with customers, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and serving as a role model for outstanding customer service. In this role, you will create a positive internal and external customer experience by fostering a culture of honesty and integrity, while also maintaining confidentiality. You will take an active role in training and mentoring Associates on front-end principles, ensuring they are equipped to personalize the customer experience effectively. Your responsibilities will include assigning registers, supporting POS coverage needs, coordinating breaks for Associates, and addressing customer concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience. You will also be responsible for ensuring that Associates execute tasks according to the store plan, prioritizing as needed, and communicating effectively with management and Associates regarding priorities and progress updates. Recognition and constructive feedback will be a part of your leadership style, as you partner with management to identify training needs for Associates to enhance their effectiveness. Additionally, you will ensure adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures, while promoting credit and loyalty programs and supporting store shrink reduction goals. Safety awareness will be a priority, and you will maintain a safe environment for both customers and Associates. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
