As a Retail Customer Experience Coordinator, you will be responsible for promoting an excellent customer experience and overseeing a team of Associates at the front of the store. Your role will ensure prompt, courteous customer service and the promotion of loyalty programs. You will lead by example by engaging and interacting with all customers while maintaining a clean and organized store. Your leadership will help create a positive internal and external customer experience, promoting a culture of honesty and integrity while maintaining confidentiality. In this position, you will take an active role in training and mentoring Associates on front-end principles, coaching them on personalizing the customer experience while promoting loyalty programs. You will assign registers, support and respond to POS coverage needs, and coordinate breaks for all Associates. Addressing customer concerns and issues promptly will be essential to ensuring a positive customer experience. You will also ensure that Associates execute tasks and activities according to the store plan, prioritizing as needed, and communicate accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities. Providing and accepting recognition and constructive feedback will be part of your daily responsibilities, as well as partnering with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness. Additionally, you will ensure adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures, promote credit and loyalty programs, and support and participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs. Safety awareness and maintaining a safe environment will also be part of your duties, along with other tasks as assigned. This role requires a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, and a strong understanding of merchandising techniques. You will need to be capable of multi-tasking, possess strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail, and be able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations. Being a team player and effectively working with peers and supervisors is crucial, as is the ability to train others.

Requirements

  • Under 1 year of retail experience.
  • 1 year of retail and 6 months of leadership experience.
  • Strong understanding of merchandising techniques.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Capable of multi-tasking.
  • Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
  • Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors.
  • Able to train others.
