As a Retail Customer Experience Coordinator at Marshalls, you will play a pivotal role in promoting an excellent customer experience while overseeing a team of Associates at the front of the store. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure prompt and courteous customer service, as well as to actively promote loyalty programs. You will lead by example, engaging and interacting with customers to create a positive shopping environment while maintaining a clean and organized store. Your role will also involve modeling outstanding customer service to inspire your team and enhance the overall customer experience. In this position, you will be responsible for creating a culture of honesty and integrity within the team, maintaining confidentiality, and taking an active role in training and mentoring Associates on front-end principles. You will coach your team on personalizing the customer experience and effectively promoting loyalty programs. Additionally, you will assign registers, support POS coverage needs, and coordinate breaks for all Associates to ensure smooth operations. Addressing customer concerns and issues promptly will be crucial to ensuring a positive customer experience. You will ensure that Associates execute tasks and activities according to the store plan, prioritizing as needed. Effective communication with management and Associates will be essential as you set and address priorities, providing progress updates as necessary. You will also be responsible for providing and accepting recognition and constructive feedback, partnering with management to identify Associate training needs to increase effectiveness. Moreover, you will ensure adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures while promoting credit and loyalty programs. Supporting and participating in store shrink reduction goals and programs will also be part of your responsibilities, along with promoting safety awareness and maintaining a safe environment for both customers and Associates. Other duties may be assigned as needed to support the store's operations and customer service goals.
