You will be responsible for training and mentoring Associates on front-end principles, ensuring they understand how to personalize the customer experience and promote our loyalty programs. Your ability to communicate effectively with both management and Associates will be key in setting priorities and addressing any issues that arise. You will also play a vital role in promoting a culture of honesty and integrity within the team, while ensuring compliance with all labor laws and company policies. Your responsibilities will include assigning registers, coordinating breaks, and addressing customer concerns promptly. You will also support store shrink reduction goals and promote safety awareness among your team. Responsibilities

  • Promote an excellent customer experience.
  • Oversee a team of Associates at the front of the store.
  • Engage and interact with customers to maintain a clean and organized store.
  • Train and mentor Associates on front-end principles.
  • Coach Associates on personalizing the customer experience and promoting loyalty programs.
  • Assign registers and coordinate breaks for all Associates.
  • Address customer concerns and issues promptly.
  • Ensure Associates execute tasks according to store plan and prioritize as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with management and Associates regarding priorities and progress updates.
  • Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
  • Partner with Management on Associate training needs.
  • Ensure adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Promote credit and loyalty programs.
  • Support store shrink reduction goals and programs.
  • Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.

Requirements

  • Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Strong understanding of merchandising techniques.
  • Capable of multi-tasking.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
  • Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors.
  • Able to train others.
  • 1 year of retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
