As a Retail Customer Experience Coordinator at Marshalls, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the customer experience and ensuring that our store operates smoothly. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee a team of Associates at the front of the store, ensuring that they provide prompt and courteous customer service while promoting our loyalty programs. You will lead by example, engaging with customers and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your leadership will help create a positive internal and external customer experience, fostering a culture of honesty and integrity among your team. In this role, you will actively participate in training and mentoring Associates on front-end principles, helping them personalize the customer experience and effectively promote loyalty programs. You will be responsible for assigning registers, supporting POS coverage needs, and coordinating breaks for all Associates. Addressing customer concerns and issues promptly will be crucial to ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. You will also ensure that Associates execute tasks and activities according to the store plan, prioritizing as needed. Effective communication with management and Associates will be essential as you set and address priorities, providing progress updates as necessary. Recognizing and providing constructive feedback to your team will be part of your daily responsibilities, as will partnering with management to identify training needs that can enhance team effectiveness. Additionally, you will promote credit and loyalty programs, support store shrink reduction goals, and maintain a safe environment for both customers and Associates.
