As a Retail Customer Experience Coordinator at TJ Maxx, you will play a pivotal role in promoting an excellent customer experience within our store. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee a team of Associates at the front of the store, ensuring that customers receive prompt and courteous service while also promoting our loyalty programs. You will lead by example, engaging with customers and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Each shift presents a new opportunity to discover different ways to enhance the shopping experience for our customers. In this dynamic role, you will create a positive internal and external customer experience by fostering a culture of honesty and integrity. You will take an active role in training and mentoring Associates on front-end principles, ensuring they are equipped to personalize the customer experience effectively. Your responsibilities will include assigning registers, supporting POS coverage needs, and coordinating breaks for all Associates. You will also address customer concerns and issues promptly, ensuring that every customer leaves with a positive impression of our store. Additionally, you will ensure that Associates execute tasks and activities according to the store plan, prioritizing as needed. Effective communication with management and Associates is crucial, as you will be setting and addressing priorities while providing progress updates. You will also be responsible for recognizing and providing constructive feedback to your team, partnering with management to identify training needs that will increase overall effectiveness. Your role will also involve promoting credit and loyalty programs, supporting store shrink reduction goals, and maintaining a safe environment for both customers and Associates. Other duties may be assigned as needed, making this a versatile and engaging position within the retail environment.
