About The Position

As a Retail Customer Experience Coordinator at TJ Maxx, you will play a pivotal role in promoting an excellent customer experience while overseeing a team of Associates at the front of the store. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure prompt and courteous customer service, as well as to actively promote loyalty programs. You will lead by example, engaging and interacting with customers to create a positive shopping environment. Maintaining a clean and organized store will also be a key aspect of your role, as you model outstanding customer service for your team and customers alike. In this dynamic position, you will take an active role in training and mentoring Associates on front-end principles, ensuring they are equipped to personalize the customer experience effectively. You will be responsible for assigning registers, supporting POS coverage needs, and coordinating breaks for all Associates. Addressing customer concerns and issues promptly will be essential to ensuring a positive customer experience, and you will need to communicate accurately and effectively with both management and Associates to set and address priorities. Your leadership will extend to providing recognition and constructive feedback to your team, partnering with management to identify training needs, and ensuring adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures. You will also promote credit and loyalty programs, support store shrink reduction goals, and maintain a safe environment for both customers and Associates. This role is not just about managing tasks; it’s about fostering a culture of honesty and integrity while creating a positive internal and external customer experience.
