As a Retail Customer Experience Coordinator at Marshalls, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the customer experience and promoting a culture of excellence within the store. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee a team of Associates at the front of the store, ensuring that customers receive prompt and courteous service while actively promoting loyalty programs. You will lead by example, engaging with customers and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your role will involve creating a positive experience for both internal and external customers, fostering a culture of honesty and integrity, and maintaining confidentiality in all interactions. In this position, you will take an active role in training and mentoring Associates on front-end principles, coaching them on how to personalize the customer experience while promoting loyalty programs. You will be responsible for assigning registers, supporting POS coverage needs, and coordinating breaks for all Associates. Addressing customer concerns and issues promptly will be essential to ensuring a positive customer experience. You will also ensure that Associates execute tasks and activities according to the store plan, prioritizing as needed, and communicating effectively with management and Associates regarding priorities and progress updates. Your leadership will extend to providing recognition and constructive feedback to team members, partnering with management to identify training needs, and ensuring adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures. Additionally, you will promote credit and loyalty programs, support store shrink reduction goals, and maintain a safe environment for both customers and Associates.
