As a Retail Customer Experience Coordinator at TJ Maxx, you will play a pivotal role in promoting an excellent customer experience while overseeing a team of Associates at the front of the store. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure prompt and courteous customer service, as well as to actively promote loyalty programs. You will lead by example, engaging and interacting with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere, while also maintaining a clean and organized store environment. This position is not just about managing tasks; it’s about embodying the values of outstanding customer service and fostering a positive experience for both internal and external customers. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for creating a culture of honesty and integrity within your team, ensuring that confidentiality is maintained at all times. You will take an active role in training and mentoring Associates on front-end principles, helping them to personalize the customer experience while effectively promoting loyalty programs. Your leadership will extend to assigning registers, supporting POS coverage needs, and coordinating breaks for all Associates, ensuring that the store operates smoothly and efficiently. Addressing customer concerns and issues promptly will be a key part of your role, as you strive to ensure a positive customer experience. You will also be tasked with ensuring that Associates execute their tasks according to the store plan, prioritizing as needed to meet the demands of the business. Effective communication with management and Associates will be essential, as you will provide progress updates and set priorities for the team. Recognition and constructive feedback will be part of your leadership style, as you partner with management to identify training needs that will enhance the effectiveness of your team. Additionally, you will promote adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures, while also supporting store shrink reduction goals and programs. Safety awareness will be a priority, as you maintain a safe environment for both customers and Associates. Other duties may be assigned as needed, making this a versatile and engaging position within the retail environment.
