About the position

The position at Marshalls Store 1498 involves overseeing a team of Associates to ensure an excellent customer experience at the front of the store. Responsibilities

  • Promote an excellent customer experience by overseeing a team of Associates.
  • Engage and interact with customers to maintain a clean and organized store.
  • Model outstanding customer service and create a positive internal and external customer experience.
  • Promote a culture of honesty and integrity while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Train and mentor Associates on front end principles and personalizing the customer experience.
  • Assign registers, support POS coverage needs, and coordinate breaks for Associates.
  • Address customer concerns and issues promptly to ensure a positive experience.
  • Ensure Associates execute tasks according to store plans and prioritize as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with management and Associates regarding priorities and progress updates.
  • Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback to and from Associates.
  • Partner with management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness.
  • Ensure adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Promote credit and loyalty programs and participate in store shrink reduction goals.
  • Maintain safety awareness and a safe environment.

Requirements

  • Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Strong understanding of merchandising techniques.
  • Capable of multi-tasking and strong communication skills.
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
  • Team player who works effectively with peers and supervisors.
  • Ability to train others with at least 1 year of retail and 6 months of leadership experience.
