About the position

The Call Center Customer Service Account Specialist at Chase is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by handling inbound calls from checking and savings account customers. This role emphasizes building rapport with customers to positively impact business results, requiring strong communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Take approximately 80 - 120 inbound calls daily from customers.
  • Build strong rapport with customers to enhance business impact.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • Navigate multiple technologies while maintaining engagement with customers.
  • Take ownership of each customer interaction, treating them with respect and empathy.
  • Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Abide by all applicable regulatory and departmental practices and procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of customer interaction or customer support experience required, either by phone or face-to-face.
  • Minimum of 6 months computer experience required, utilizing multiple computer applications in a Windows-based environment.
  • High school diploma or GED required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to multitask using a computer while providing customer support.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, consistently changing environment.
  • Previous experience working in the Hospitality, Restaurant, or Retail industry.
