About the position

The Retail Customer Service Associate at BJ's Wholesale Club is responsible for providing exceptional service to members while executing various customer service tasks. This part-time role involves promoting membership programs, handling merchandise returns, and addressing customer inquiries, all while maintaining a positive and inclusive environment. The associate plays a key role in enhancing the member experience and supporting the club's operational goals.

Responsibilities

• Execute Acquisition 365, renewing, upgrading, and cross-selling BJ's Loyalty Programs.
• Handle merchandise returns, exchanges, pick-ups, and general customer service inquiries.
• Provide excellent and efficient member service.
• Support the application of club policies, procedures, and compliance.
• Act with honesty and integrity, addressing member concerns and escalating as appropriate.
• Ensure a safe and positive environment for members and team members.
• Embrace inclusion and diversity, collaborating with respect.
• Work as a team to achieve goals and maintain a friendly attitude.
• Deliver service excellence through all points of contact and resolve member concerns.
• Maintain visible accurate signage and ensure cleanliness and organization of the club.

Requirements

• Prior front line/customer service or previous sales experience preferred.
• Results driven with proven success in goal achievement.
• Basic math skills preferred.
• Computer proficiency preferred.
