About the position

The Retail Customer Service Associate at FedEx Office is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by utilizing consultative skills to understand and meet customer needs. This role involves managing various store operations, including taking orders, providing product information, and operating equipment. The associate will also ensure a clean and safe store environment while handling financial transactions and maintaining customer confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a positive customer experience by utilizing consultative skills to anticipate customer needs.
  • Take orders and provide pricing and product information to customers.
  • Operate and maintain a variety of equipment, including printing and shipping tools.
  • Assemble parcels and prepare goods for shipping, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
  • Process financial transactions using a Point of Sale terminal, including cash handling.
  • Assist in training new team members and support store functions as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly retail store environment.
  • Stay current on retail store merchandising materials and ensure proper product display.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • 6+ months of specialized experience in a customer service role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
