About the position

The Retail Customer Service Associate at FedEx Office is responsible for delivering a positive customer experience by utilizing consultative skills to understand and meet customer needs. This role involves taking orders, providing product information, and recommending appropriate FedEx Office services. The associate will also operate various equipment, manage production queues, and ensure the store is clean and organized while maintaining confidentiality and handling financial transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a positive customer experience by understanding and anticipating customer needs.
  • Take complex customer orders and provide accurate pricing information.
  • Assemble parcels and prepare goods for shipping.
  • Set up and operate printing, binding, and related equipment.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly retail store.
  • Process financial transactions using a Point of Sale terminal (POS).
  • Assist in training store team members and follow supervisors' instructions.
  • Stay current on retail store merchandising materials and ensure proper display of products.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • 6+ months of specialized experience in a customer service role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to stand during entire shift, excluding meal and rest periods.
  • Ability to move and lift 55 pounds.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
