About the position

The Retail Customer Service Associate at FedEx Office is responsible for delivering a positive customer experience by utilizing consultative skills to understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions. This role involves managing various store functions, including taking orders, providing product information, and operating equipment. The associate will also ensure customer satisfaction by resolving issues and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a positive customer experience by understanding individualized customer needs.
  • Provide expertise in printing, signs, graphics, and shipping product lines.
  • Take complex customer orders and provide accurate pricing information.
  • Assemble parcels and prepare goods for shipping.
  • Set up and operate printing and binding equipment.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly retail store.
  • Process financial transactions using a Point of Sale terminal.
  • Clean, repair, and stock retail store equipment and supplies.
  • Stay current on retail store merchandising materials and ensure proper display of products.
  • Complete required financial paperwork and assist with financial reporting.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • 6+ months of specialized experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to stand during entire shift, excluding meal and rest periods.
  • Ability to move and lift 55 pounds.
  • Ability to bend/twist at the waist and knees.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
