About the position

The Retail Customer Service Associate at FedEx Office is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by utilizing consultative skills to understand and meet customer needs. This role involves managing various store functions, including taking orders, providing product information, and operating equipment. The associate will also ensure a clean and safe store environment while handling financial transactions and maintaining confidentiality of customer data.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a positive customer experience by understanding individualized customer needs.
  • Provide expertise in printing, signs, graphics, and shipping product lines.
  • Take complex customer orders and provide accurate pricing information.
  • Assemble parcels and prepare goods for shipping.
  • Set up and operate printing, binding, and related equipment.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly retail store.
  • Process financial transactions using a Point of Sale terminal (POS).
  • Clean, repair, and stock retail store printing and shipping equipment.
  • Stay current on retail store merchandising materials and ensure proper display of products.
  • Complete required financial paperwork and assist with financial reporting.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • 6+ months of specialized experience in a retail environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
