About the position

The Retail Customer Service Associate at FedEx Office is responsible for delivering a positive customer experience by utilizing consultative skills to understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions. This role involves managing various store functions, including taking orders, providing product information, and operating equipment related to printing and shipping services. The associate will also ensure customer satisfaction by resolving issues promptly and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a positive customer experience by utilizing consultative skills.
  • Take orders and provide pricing and product information.
  • Operate and maintain printing, binding, and shipping equipment.
  • Assemble parcels and prepare goods for shipping.
  • Process financial transactions using a Point of Sale terminal (POS).
  • Assist in training store team members and follow supervisors' instructions.
  • Ensure confidentiality of customer data and careful handling of documents.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly retail store environment.
  • Stay current on retail store merchandising materials and ensure proper display of products.
  • Complete required financial paperwork and assist with financial reporting.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • 6+ months of specialized experience in customer service or retail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a retail environment.
  • Knowledge of printing, signs, and graphics services.
