About the position

The Retail Customer Service/Cashier position at Love's Travel Stops & Country Store involves providing fast, friendly, and accurate service to customers in a dynamic retail environment. Cashiers are responsible for maintaining cleanliness, assisting customers with their needs, and handling transactions efficiently. Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including helping customers find items and answering questions about products and services.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while adhering to state and local laws.
• Ensuring proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products using various methods and technology.
• Cleaning the direct working area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Cross-training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.

Requirements

• Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
