About the position

The Retail Customer Service Cashier at Love's is responsible for providing fast, friendly, and accurate service to customers in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role involves various customer service duties, including assisting customers, managing transactions, and maintaining cleanliness in the store. The position offers opportunities for career development and cross-training in different departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide general customer service by assisting customers in finding items and answering questions about products and services.
• Balance a cash register by completing customer transactions and promoting additional sales opportunities while adhering to state and local laws.
• Ensure proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products using various methods and technology.
• Maintain cleanliness in the working area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, and gas/diesel pumps, including completing trash runs.
• Participate in cross-training for other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a friendly demeanor.
• Flexibility to perform various duties based on business needs.
• Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds.
• Willingness to work in various temperatures.
