The Salesfloor Manager at M&D Supply Ace Hardware is responsible for overseeing the customer experience and ensuring that the sales team provides exceptional service. This role is crucial for the company's success, as the manager acts as a key representative of the brand, leading the team to meet customer needs and maintain high service standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the customer experience on the sales floor.
- Recruit, identify, screen, and select qualified applicants for open positions.
- Facilitate the training and development of staff.
- Develop and monitor the annual financial plan for resource allocation.
- Coordinate operational activities through planning and scheduling.
- Lead the sales team to execute M&D's value proposition.
- Manage conflicts between employees and customers, promoting effective solutions.
- Administer corrective actions in collaboration with HR when necessary.
- Evaluate employee performance according to established standards.
- Support the management team as needed and coordinate staff meetings.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years old or older.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in related fields and/or previous management experience.
- Ability to obtain LP Gas and forklift certification.
