As a Retail Customer Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for promoting an excellent customer experience while overseeing a team of Associates at the front of the store. Your role will involve ensuring prompt and courteous customer service, as well as promoting loyalty programs. You will lead by example by engaging and interacting with all customers, maintaining a clean and organized store, and role modeling outstanding customer service. In this position, you will create a positive internal and external customer experience, promote a culture of honesty and integrity, and maintain confidentiality. You will take an active role in training and mentoring Associates on front-end principles, personalizing the customer experience, and promoting loyalty programs. Additionally, you will assign registers, support and respond to POS coverage needs, and coordinate breaks for all Associates. Addressing customer concerns and issues promptly will be crucial to ensuring a positive customer experience. You will also ensure that Associates execute tasks and activities according to the store plan, prioritize as needed, and communicate accurately and effectively with management and Associates. Your responsibilities will include providing and accepting recognition and constructive feedback, partnering with management on Associate training needs, ensuring adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures, and promoting credit and loyalty programs. You will support and participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs while promoting safety awareness and maintaining a safe environment. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 1 year of retail experience
  • 6 months of leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of merchandising techniques
  • Capable of multi-tasking
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
  • Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
  • Able to train others
