About the position

The position at Chevron Stations Inc (CSI) involves providing exceptional customer service at retail stations that sell gasoline and convenience products. Employees are expected to maintain a professional demeanor, adhere to safety and hygiene standards, and ensure compliance with company policies while engaging with customers and managing transactions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain courteous, professional contact with co-workers, customers, vendors, and the community.
• Support and follow established safety, security, and quality guidelines as well as CSI's policies and procedures.
• Report accidents or incidents to the manager immediately.
• Ensure food safety hygiene in accordance with county regulations.
• Follow federal law and company standards on carding customers for age-restricted products.
• Provide exceptional guest service and greet all customers.
• Conduct point-of-sale activities accurately and safely.
• Maintain cash drawer and perform cashier reconciliation at each end of shift.
• Perform consistent station cleaning of indoor and outdoor facilities.
• Prepare food and hot beverage products.
• Manage ExtraMile and/or KKC foodservice and beverages effectively.
• Promote store specials and marketing programs.
• Cross-check price of delivered goods for accuracy and distribute them orderly throughout the store.

Requirements

• Available to work a variety of hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
• Ability to work both independently and in team settings.
• Must possess required up-to-date food handling certificates, as required by law.

Nice-to-haves

• Cooking/Restaurant experience preferred.
