About the position

The Retail Delivery Merchandiser (DM) at Buffalo Rock Company is a vital member of the Retail Sales team responsible for selling, delivering, and merchandising a wide range of beverage products. This role involves maintaining customer relationships, ensuring compliance with company policies, and achieving sales objectives while adhering to safety regulations. The position requires flexibility in work hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet the demands of the job.

Responsibilities

• Service all assigned accounts according to Buffalo Rock Standards and Franchise Policy.
• Perform specific activities of the assigned route, including selling new products and managing displays.
• Develop and maintain positive professional customer relationships.
• Communicate all transshipping activity and visit accounts weekly to pick up pallets and trays.
• Take ownership of assigned accounts to ensure success and communicate changes to the supervisor.
• Complete all required paperwork in accordance with company policy.
• Monitor assigned accounts for compliance and communicate daily with the supervisor on operational items.
• Achieve required percentage of Strategic Execution Objectives and execute account program key objectives.
• Properly rotate products and remove damaged or out-of-date products during visits.
• Assist management in reporting competitive activity and achieving sales goals.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
• Valid state driver license with a good driving record.
• Valid state Class A Commercial Driver License (where applicable).
• D.O.T Certified (where applicable).

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in sales or customer service is a plus but not required.
