Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to incoming customer calls and emails regarding retail deposit accounts.
  • Provide accurate and detailed information about account features, interest rates, transaction history, and other relevant banking services.
  • Resolve customer complaints, concerns, and inquiries in a timely and satisfactory manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Update customer records and account information accurately and promptly in the customer relationship management (CRM) system or other relevant databases.
  • Identify opportunities to promote and cross-sell additional banking products and services based on customer needs and preferences.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information and adhere to data security and privacy regulations.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with banking regulations, compliance standards, and customer data privacy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) systems, banking software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a positive attitude when dealing with customers and colleagues.

Nice-to-haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is a plus.
  • 0-1 years of experience in a retail banking call center or customer service environment, preferably in a retail deposits servicing role.
