You will lead store teams by promoting a culture that values fairness in the administration of human resources policies and practices. Your leadership will drive annual sales growth that meets or exceeds company targets through quality orders and efficient flow processes. You will ensure that all tools are effectively utilized in each store, resulting in superior inventory presentation and management. Your effective planning and execution of company objectives will maximize performance and productivity, while your commitment to sensible store scheduling will enhance operational efficiency. In addition to managing store operations, you will be responsible for the total development of human capital through proactive recruitment, selection, and education of employees. Protecting company assets through loss prevention and expense efficiencies will also be a key focus. You will identify and develop new business opportunities within your operational area, including distribution flow improvements, merchandising display efforts, and employee relations. Consistent and effective communication of divisional and regional priorities to store teams will be essential to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Four or more years of retail management experience with progressively more responsibility.
  • Experience managing multi-unit operations in retail, grocery, or convenience store operations with full P&L responsibility.
  • Demonstrated results-oriented leadership skills.
  • Financial analysis skills sufficient to interpret operating statements and manage budgets.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams to achieve objectives.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience in 'big-box' retail management or equivalent education and experience.
