About the position

The Retail Division Manager at Town and Country Supply Association is responsible for overseeing the retail division across 12 locations in Montana, managing approximately 94 employees. This role focuses on ensuring that daily targets are met, maintaining compliance with division policies, and addressing any work-related issues. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of management best practices, and the ability to motivate and support staff effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the retail division's staff to ensure daily targets are met.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and analyze monthly P&L statements with managers to identify strengths and weaknesses for improved performance.
  • Coach and develop each manager to maximize sales and profitability at their location.
  • Implement in-store marketing strategies to drive sales volumes.
  • Manage facility maintenance and daily operations of the division.
  • Provide technical direction and professional support to division personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with division policies and procedures among staff members.
  • Collaborate with the financial department to plan and develop annual budgets.
  • Review office operations and report any issues to senior management.
  • Work with the HR department to handle inter-division disputes and conflicts.
  • Promote communication throughout the Co-Op and communicate goals and standards.
  • Maintain the highest levels of integrity and honesty, leading by example.
  • Act as the primary Co-Op representative to store managers and maintain regular contact to ensure continuity of operation.
  • Maintain Co-Op image standards to deliver a consistent and pleasant buying experience.

Requirements

  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Excellent knowledge of management best practices and strong managerial skills.
  • Good conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid communication and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to navigate stressful work situations.
  • Ability to understand financial reports.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test, and show proof of a driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Report.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $85,000 yearly.
  • Full-time position with 40+ hours a week.
