About the position

The Retail Ecommerce Sales Manager will be responsible for driving online sales growth, optimizing the company's digital presence, and ensuring exceptional customer experience for all retail accounts. This role involves developing sales strategies, collaborating with various teams, and analyzing sales performance to identify opportunities for improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed retail e-commerce sales targets.
  • Collaborate with HPI Account Leaders to build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with online merchants.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to build the Annual Sales Budget and ensure accurate sales forecasting.
  • Monitor online retail sales performance and analyze key metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Present recommendations and execute once approved.
  • Collaborate with Segment (channel marketing), Commercial Finance and marketing agencies to execute promotional campaigns, new product launches, and growing core items.
  • Manage the online product catalog to ensure accurate product listings, descriptions, and online retail pricing.
  • Coordinate with customer service, forecasting, operations, and global supply teams to ensure product availability and timely order fulfillment.
  • Monitor product performance and provide feedback and recommendations to the product development team to drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new opportunities.
  • Conduct regular market research to understand customer needs and preferences.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve the overall retail e-commerce strategy.
  • Generate and present to sales and marketing regular reports on sales performance, customer behavior, and website analytics.
  • Track online POS metrics, including sell-in, sell-thru, product reviews, return rates, etc. and provide performance summaries and reporting against key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Work closely with Business intelligence to create accurate and easy to understand reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and no less than 4 years of progressive experience managing retail ecommerce accounts, or same length of progressive experience in commercial finance; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Solid Experience managing customer feedback and nurturing individual customer relationships successfully.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and in-person with the utmost attention to detail.
  • A customer service-oriented mindset, with a strong ability to identify the wants, needs and expectations of the customer to meet them with the company’s offerings.
  • Demonstrated strong business acumen, with the ability to think and act strategically.
  • Exceptional data analysis skills with the ability to derive meaningful, actionable insights.
  • Ability to work cross functionally with various internal and external teams.
  • Strong project management skills, self-starter and successful at leading projects with little supervision.
