About the position

The Retail Execution Manager will serve as a key member of the sales team who contributes to the strategic direction of the customer relationship. This role contributes to volume, profit, and share growth by driving distribution and availability across the Yumi national and regional account channels while developing and executing a net sales and margin strategy at accounts focusing on the Yumi portfolio including Allied Brands. The Retail Execution Manager must proactively partner/collaborate with internal Yumi personnel and Yumi manufacture resources that influence and help drive the execution of the retailer's plan while assisting with budget management to maximize results and return on investment.

Responsibilities

  • Build a strategic annual operating plan (AOP) using syndicated and retailer-provided data.
  • Become a Business Advisor by creating valued business partnerships with customers and identifying business opportunities.
  • Build Trusting Relationships with customers and internal partners.
  • Make decisions by identifying and understanding issues, problems, and opportunities.
  • Communicate effectively to convey information and ideas clearly.
  • Manage work efficiently to ensure tasks are completed.
  • Demonstrate successful sales traits and adapt to sales role demands.
  • Negotiate sales agreements that gain customer acceptance.
  • Analyze sales opportunities using economic, financial, and organizational data.
  • Set high performance standards for self and others.
  • Take calculated risks to achieve recognized benefits.

Requirements

  • A four-year degree from an accredited college, preferred.
  • 5 or more years of DSD sales and consumer products experience, preferred.
  • 2 years of national key account experience.
  • Knowledge of customers and the markets.
  • 2 years' experience using IRI, Nielsen, or other syndicated data.
  • Proficient in MS Office products, especially Excel (Pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUP, etc.).
  • Ability to understand and explain analytical reports.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Willingness to work over 40 hours when required.
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Valid Texas Driver's License with 5 years of driving experience.
