About the position
The Retail Field Merchandiser position at FreshPoint Oahu, Ltd. is a sales role focused on promoting the company's products and services while building strong relationships with designated accounts. The primary goal is to help customers succeed and achieve sales and profit targets through effective in-store stocking and replenishment strategies.
Responsibilities
- Grow customer and FreshPoint Sales, Volume and profit YOY by ensuring the right items are in stock for customer demand.
- Stock displays in compliance with customer-defined schematics, ensuring quality products and removing freshness-dated and damaged items.
- Optimize consumer engagement on shelf by maintaining attractive product displays.
- Perform basic duties related to new and existing merchandise, including price changes, tagging, ad set, and shelving arrangements.
- Clean fixtures when stocking or dressing down the department to enhance the customer experience.
- Enhance partnerships with retailers by maintaining client relationships through regular visits to store employees and managers.
- Collaborate with store leadership on product displays and merchandising strategies.
- Oversee the ordering of all products supplied by FreshPoint to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Input orders and resolve conflicts related to billing, receiving, and scanning at the customer level.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years of retail merchandising experience
- Valid driver's license
- Strong communication skills
- Time management skills
- Customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Access

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
