About the position

The Floor Manager at United Legwear & Apparel Co. is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store team at Ted Baker's Bloomingdale's concession shop. This role involves assisting customers, resolving inquiries, distributing tasks among team members, and monitoring performance. The Floor Manager will work closely with the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager to drive sales and ensure a high standard of customer service and team performance.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and ensure prompt resolution of inquiries.
• Distribute tasks to team members and monitor their performance.
• Support the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager in daily operations.
• Display confident leadership to inspire and empower the team.
• Promote excellent team participation and maintain high presentation standards.
• Champion the accomplishment of training and standards in the location.
• Develop others by monitoring performance and providing feedback.
• Support recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
• Maximize sales potential by ensuring team delivers training requirements.
• Drive awareness of brand promotions and marketing activities to the team and customers.
• Manage controllable elements of the store's profit and loss budgets.

Requirements

• Experience as a Floor Supervisor/Keyholder or in a similar retail management role, preferably in fashion.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and develop actionable strategies.
• Knowledge of retail operations, visual merchandising, and inventory management.
• Passion for fashion and the Ted Baker brand.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
