About the position

As the Fragrance Counter Manager at Macy's, you will oversee the operation and success of the fragrance counter, ensuring excellent customer service and achieving sales goals. You will leverage your product knowledge to inspire and develop your team while collaborating with beauty vendors and store leadership to execute events and promotions.

Responsibilities

  • Inspire teamwork to reach sales goals and elevate the customer experience.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of products and services to build rapport and loyalty.
  • Drive sales through brand training, events, and strategies.
  • Utilize the clientele program to build relationships with customers and meet sales goals.
  • Build brand loyalty through engaging customers in the rewards program.
  • Communicate with vendors and store leadership to execute company and store-based events to achieve sales goals.
  • Analyze business performance and create strategies to exceed sales goals.
  • Recruit, train, coach, motivate, and develop colleagues on policies and goals.
  • Lead product demonstrations and peer-to-peer training.
  • Use point of sale technology and applications to assist in selling and fulfilling customer orders.
  • Oversee presentation, organization, storing, and stock replenishment.
  • Adhere to safety and hygiene standards; comply with asset protection control procedures.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of direct experience in retail or fragrance sales is preferred.
  • High school graduate or equivalent (GED).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and resourcefulness.
  • Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in product demonstrations.
  • Advanced authority and expertise in a specific brand.
