About the position

As a Retail Fraud Specialist I at Chase, you will be part of the Call Center team, focusing on delivering business results through effective customer interactions. This role is dynamic and requires fluency in both Spanish and English, as you will engage with customers primarily over the phone in a metrics-driven environment. Your responsibilities will include problem-solving and providing solutions to customer inquiries while maintaining a high level of empathy and respect.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a call center environment that requires 100% phone-based customer interaction.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills while engaging with customers.
  • Communicate with customers in a metrics-driven environment.
  • Navigate multiple technologies while demonstrating resiliency and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Take ownership of each customer interaction, treating them with respect and responding with empathy.
  • Work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Abide by all applicable regulatory and departmental practices and procedures.

Requirements

  • Fluency in both Spanish and English is required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer interaction or customer support experience, either by phone or face-to-face.
  • Minimum of 6 months computer experience in a Windows-based environment, utilizing multiple computer applications.
  • High school diploma or GED required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to multitask using a computer while providing customer support.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, consistently changing environment.
  • Previous experience working in a Call Center, Banking, or Finance industry.
  • A passion for helping people by solving problems and explaining solutions.
