About the position

The Front-End Department Head (FEDH) at PGA TOUR Superstore is responsible for ensuring an exceptional customer experience at the store's Club Services Desk and Front-End operations. This role involves overseeing daily operations, implementing company standards, and leading a team to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales. The FEDH acts as a key communicator and trainer for associates, ensuring that all services and merchandise are presented at a high standard while maintaining compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Support and oversee all Club Services and Front-End operations.
• Act as the expert in assigned departments, providing input into operational and merchandising decisions.
• Execute the role of a Starter (greeter) to ensure customers receive a warm welcome and guidance.
• Direct on-floor work assignments and provide departmental training for associates.
• Participate in weekly department evaluations with the Sales and Service Manager (SSM).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and operational Front-End and Services area.
• Execute and maintain all Club Services and Front-End programs, promotions, and procedures.
• Perform basic club repair duties and manage G&T App orders.
• Ensure compliance with Loss Prevention policies and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Open and close the store, handling cash and customer escalations.

Requirements

• Strong listening and interpersonal skills for effective communication.
• Basic computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook.
• Ability to manage conflict and lead conflict resolution.
• Quickly learn business acumen with appropriate training.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Leadership skills to enforce high standards of customer service.
