The associate will engage with customers proactively, utilizing proven sales principles to drive sales and ensure customer satisfaction in every interaction. In this role, the associate will also be responsible for training Sales Advisors and other associates within the store on technology products, selling behaviors, and services. Successful completion of training in Tech, Print, and other applicable areas is expected, including any required certifications. As a Key Carrier, the associate will act as a Leader on Duty in the absence of other supervisors or management, ensuring that the store operates smoothly and effectively. The position requires a commitment to exceptional customer service, where the associate will educate customers about Office Depot products and services, evaluate customer needs, and provide tailored solutions. The associate will also support various store operations, including cashier duties, inventory control, and maintaining store cleanliness. Continuous personal development in selling skills and product knowledge is essential, as is compliance with company policies and loss prevention efforts. The associate will also be involved in merchandise-related activities, ensuring that presentation guidelines are met and that promotional materials are updated accordingly.
