About the position

As a Retail Fulfillment Associate at Macy's, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the shopping experience for our omni-channel customers. Your primary responsibility will be to support operational activities that drive sales, profit, and excellent customer service. You will work closely with the store team to ensure a friction-free shopping environment, contributing to the overall success of the store. In this role, you will be responsible for greeting customers, answering their questions, and providing assistance in a friendly and professional manner. You will ensure a positive shopping experience by providing order updates, addressing customer concerns, and resolving issues promptly. Additionally, you will monitor alerts to ensure timely completion of Buy Online Pickup In-Store (BOPS) orders, and during peak times, you will assist with customer pick-up by retrieving orders from the back-of-house storage and delivering them curbside. Your duties will also include locating ordered items in the store and preparing merchandise for shipment using handheld technology and appropriate packing materials. You will prepare shipping labels, coordinate with shipping providers for timely delivery, and process shippable returns and abandoned in-store pickup orders. Collaboration with other teams will be essential, as you will assist in unloading and processing new merchandise based on its type, size, or category. Effective communication with colleagues and supervisors will be key to sharing feedback, ideas, and concerns, ensuring a positive work environment.
