About the position

The Part-Time Retail Gear Guide position at our Dallas store focuses on providing customers with an exceptional shopping experience through excellent customer service and product knowledge. The role involves engaging with customers authentically, assisting with inventory management, and maintaining high merchandising standards. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about the outdoors and enjoy helping others find the right gear for their adventures.

Responsibilities

  • Authentically engage with all customers to provide exceptional customer service and experience
  • Become a brand expert
  • Assist in inventory procedures including floor replenishment, third party orders, shipping, receiving, cycle counting, etc.
  • Uphold premium merchandising standards that create an exceptional customer experience
  • Execute store cleaning responsibilities
  • Provide an excellent checkout experience for all sales, returns and exchange transactions using POS
  • Assist with store events
  • Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of customer service and/or retail experience preferred
  • Ability to effectively and accurately complete POS transactions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of outdoor gear preferred
  • Must love outdoors, hunting knowledge preferred
