About the position

The Retail General Manager - Trainee at Pilot Company is responsible for overseeing high-volume retail facilities, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving sales and profit objectives. This role involves generating and executing business plans, managing teams, and maintaining vendor relationships while fostering a customer-focused culture.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee high-volume retail facilities
  • Generate and execute travel center and restaurant business plans
  • Ensure customer expectations are met
  • Conduct meetings with subordinate employees

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of management experience in the retail, restaurant, grocery or other service industry with responsibility for financial results
  • Previous management proficiency in high volume retail with P&L accountability
  • Ability to create and maintain a customer focused culture
  • Exemplify integrity and accountability at the managerial level
  • Demonstrate excellent team leadership skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule of nights, days, weekends and holidays
