About the position

The General Manager at Visionworks is a leadership role responsible for overseeing store operations, managing a service-driven team, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This position focuses on maximizing profitability while maintaining high standards of patient care and service. The GM will engage with doctors, manage daily operations, and develop store associates to achieve financial and performance goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the store's operations to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Engage with the Doctor to discuss business needs and enhance patient/customer experience.
• Plan and prepare for daily business activities, including managing traffic and appointments.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop store associates to perform their roles effectively.
• Resolve any obstacles in the patient/customer experience to ensure satisfaction.
• Execute and improve operational activities to meet financial and customer experience goals.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Three or more years of related experience required.
• Optical management experience preferred.
• Licensed General Managers must have a current State Opticians License.
• Strong organizational skills.
