About the position

The Visionworks General Manager (GM) is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the business operations and team management within a retail environment. This position focuses on maximizing profitability while ensuring an exceptional customer experience, guiding a service-driven team, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to enhance patient journeys.

Responsibilities

• Maximize the store's profitability while maintaining a high-quality patient/customer experience.
• Engage regularly with the Doctor to discuss business needs and improve patient/customer experience.
• Plan daily business operations by managing incoming traffic and scheduled services.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop store associates to excel in their roles.
• Resolve obstacles in the patient/customer experience as needed.
• Lead and improve operational activities to meet financial and customer experience goals.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Three or more years of related experience required.
• Optical management experience preferred.
• Licensed GMs must have a current State Opticians License.
