About the position

The General Manager at Living Spaces is responsible for leading the store team to achieve excellence in team member engagement, guest satisfaction, and financial performance. This role involves overseeing daily operations, implementing business strategies, and fostering a positive employee culture while ensuring the store meets its sales and profit goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the retail store team to meet standard work expectations and optimize productivity.
• Drive profitable outcomes by executing Sales Leadership and Operations Standard Work.
• Create a culture focused on guest satisfaction through feedback and engagement.
• Manage staffing and scheduling to ensure the store is fully staffed with the right talent.
• Collaborate with corporate partners to develop effective customer service strategies.
• Align store strategies with company and division OKRs to meet planned goals.
• Prepare and execute a talent management plan, including succession planning.
• Inspire and guide team members through coaching and mentoring.
• Manage budget, resources, and operations in accordance with business priorities.
• Ensure brand presentation is executed as defined by Style Guides.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, retail management, sales, merchandising, or related field preferred.
• 5 years of experience in a direct customer interactive environment required.
• 3 years of management experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
