About the position

The Retail General Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a dispensary location, ensuring compliance with company policies and maintaining high standards of product quality and customer service. This role involves managing staff, inventory, and sales strategies to enhance customer loyalty and profitability while upholding the company's mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day retail operations of the dispensary location.
• Interview, hire, and train employees.
• Ensure adherence to company mission statement and core values.
• Maintain high ethical standards and professionalism among staff.
• Follow Retail Operations Policy Guide for consistent store operations.
• Interface with vendors and security personnel for product purchases.
• Track inventory, ordering, accounts payable, logistics, and sales.
• Monitor security cameras to maintain facility safety and security.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and uphold operational standards.
• Retain knowledge of guest services, patient benefits, and product testing procedures.
• Monitor retail sales and create solutions to increase sales.
• Perform inventory control and management functions.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the store and storage areas.
• Oversee team performance and staff development.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years combined experience in dispensary, call center, retail, sales, hospitality, or customer service.
• Excellent computer and technical skills, including retail POS systems.
• High-level critical thinking and attention to detail.
• Strong mathematical and reasoning skills.
• Comfortable with high-volume cash handling.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
