About the position

The General Manager (GM) at Visionworks is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the store's operations and ensuring a high-quality customer experience. This position requires a business-savvy individual who can drive profitability while managing a service-oriented team. The GM will engage with doctors, manage daily operations, and support staff development to achieve financial and performance goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the store's operations to maximize profitability.
• Engage with the Doctor to discuss business needs and enhance patient/customer experience.
• Plan and prepare for daily business activities, including managing traffic and appointments.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop store associates to ensure excellent performance.
• Resolve obstacles in the patient/customer experience as needed.
• Execute and improve operational activities to meet financial and customer experience goals.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Three or more years of related experience required.
• Optical management experience preferred.
• Current State Opticians License for licensed GMs.
