About the position

The position involves working as a store teammate at GolfGalaxy, where the primary focus is on creating an exceptional shopping experience for customers passionate about golf. Teammates are expected to provide helpful service, maintain high standards of product knowledge, and promote company programs while ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment for all customers and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and proactively approach them to understand their needs.
• Support customers throughout their shopping experience.
• Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards.
• Promote company programs such as customer loyalty and warranty sales.
• Adhere to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of all company information.
• Create an inclusive store environment for teammates and customers.
• Support the team across the store as needed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Golf industry experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift items weighing 15 to 35 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to work extended periods of time standing or walking (up to 4 hours).
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).
