About the position

Linville Team Partners (LTP) is seeking a Retail Growth Team Intern for a full-time temporary position that runs from May 20th to August 1st. This internship is designed for rising juniors or seniors with a core study focus on Real Estate, Finance, or Business. The intern will work under the direction of the Operations Manager and will be part of a cohort of three interns. The primary goal of the program is to provide interns with insights into how companies grow and scale through commercial real estate. The interns will have the opportunity to learn from industry experts and LTP partners through formal presentations on various commercial real estate topics, which will help them understand the basics of the industry. Throughout the internship, each intern will be assigned a capstone project that they will present to the Retail Growth Team at the end of the program. Project examples include cataloging potential sites and new opportunities in the company CRM, providing a consistent lead funnel to the acquisitions team, reaching out to leads via phone, email, and written correspondence, learning how to underwrite potential acquisitions, researching geographical territories regarding specific national retailers, and collaborating with the marketing team to create prospecting campaigns. Interns will also leverage technology such as Placer.ai and Reonomy in the site selection process. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fun and fast-paced office environment in downtown Winston-Salem.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Retail Growth Team under the direction of the Operations Manager.

Requirements

  • Rising Junior or Senior with core study focus on Real Estate, Finance, or Business.
  • Highly organized with the ability to efficiently and accurately manage multiple projects and responsibilities.
  • Go-getter mentality, highly self-motivated with a great degree of follow-up.
  • Analytically minded, detail-oriented with strong computer skills.
