About the position

The Key Carrier Coordinator at Marshalls plays a crucial role in supporting store operations by alternating between Coordinator and Key Carrier responsibilities. The Key Carrier Coordinator is expected to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, and to foster a positive work environment while promoting a culture of integrity and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on Duty, adhering to company policy and procedure.
• Ensure store team performs tasks in accordance with store plan and prioritizes as needed.
• Address immediate customer service issues and provide coaching to Associates.
• Maintain accurate Associate coverage in service areas for a positive customer experience.
• Ensure Associates adhere to all operational procedures.
• Execute opening/closing procedures according to company guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with management and Associates regarding priorities and progress updates.
• Provide feedback, recognition, and coaching to Associates.
• Partner with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs and support shrink reduction goals.
• Maintain a safe environment and promote safety awareness.

Requirements

• 1 year of retail experience
• 6 months of leadership experience
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
• Knowledge of company standard software, systems, and procedures
• Proven problem-solving skills
• Ability to effectively coach, delegate, and follow-up on multiple tasks
• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
