About the position
The Retail Key Holder position at SalonCentric is a part-time role focused on delivering exceptional customer service in the beauty industry. The key holder will engage with salon professionals, educate them on products, and contribute to a positive team environment while maintaining store operations and appearance.
Responsibilities
- Consistently deliver exceptional customer service to salon professionals.
- Sell professional beauty brands and educate customers on promotions and sales events.
- Process and replenish merchandise, prepare for physical inventories, and maintain store appearance.
- Process sales and return transactions.
- Gain essential product knowledge and share beauty industry trends with customers.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve goals and priorities.
- Commit to excellence and pursue growth opportunities.
Requirements
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Retail or related experience strongly preferred.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Ability to use computerized point of sale system; SAP experience preferred.
- Must be able to work weekends as availability guidelines require.
- Must be 18 years of age and have a High School Diploma or equivalent GED, preferred.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Must be able to stand and walk about the store throughout scheduled shift.
