About the position
The Retail Key Holder position at SalonCentric, a subsidiary of L'Oréal USA, is a part-time role focused on delivering exceptional customer service and expertise in the hair and beauty industry. The key holder will be responsible for sales, customer education, and maintaining store appearance while enjoying a flexible schedule with most major holidays off.
Responsibilities
- Consistently deliver exceptional customer service to Salon professionals.
- Sell the finest professional beauty brands and educate customers on promotions and sales events.
- Process and replenish merchandise, prepare for physical inventories, and maintain store appearance.
- Process sales and return transactions.
- Gain essential product knowledge and share beauty industry trends with customers.
- Collaborate in a positive team environment to achieve goals and priorities.
- Commit to excellence and experience growth opportunities.
Requirements
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Retail or related experience strongly preferred.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Ability to use computerized point of sale system; SAP experience preferred.
- Must be able to work weekends as availability guidelines require.
- 18 years of age and High School Diploma or equivalent GED preferred.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Must be able to stand and walk about the store throughout scheduled shift.
