About the position

The Retail Labor Management and Productivity Manager at The LEGO Group is responsible for shaping labor management and productivity strategies across the LEGO Brand Retail business. This role involves leading the development and implementation of a global labor strategy, enhancing store operations, and improving service delivery. The manager will collaborate with various teams to optimize labor processes, analyze data, and ensure compliance with legal requirements, ultimately driving business value and enhancing the customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement a global labor strategy and workforce management solutions.
  • Partner with retail leadership and key collaborators to build standard methodologies for labor management.
  • Analyze labor data and govern people costs for the LEGO Brand Retail business.
  • Identify and lead risks related to labor and payroll, ensuring cost control and accurate payments.
  • Support retail operations to streamline labor processes and drive productivity improvements through analytics.
  • Represent retail needs in the development of workforce management technology solutions.
  • Guide retail teams in planning staffing and store hours to optimize operations.
  • Collaborate with HR and Legal on compliance and wage-related matters.
  • Benchmark and integrate external labor management practices.

Requirements

  • Extensive labor management and productivity experience from leading branded retailers.
  • Strong knowledge of retail store operations, particularly labor management processes.
  • Proven track record in developing and delivering labor and productivity improvement projects.
  • Strong commercial and financial competence with the ability to analyze labor data.
  • Excellent project management skills, capable of independently leading multiple projects.
  • Extensive experience leading key partners and communicating clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to shift between strategic discussions and operational details.
  • Passion for innovation and improving the experience for store colleagues and consumers.
  • Experience with UKG Pro WFM as a workforce management solution.
